Community Service Worker
Diploma Program (45 Weeks)
Program Summary
This program has been designed to provide graduates with the knowledge, skills and attitudes
necessary to administer and implement a variety of social and community based
service programs. Students will develop skills in client assessment, proper referral procedure,
and monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of client treatment.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates have a wide range of options when deciding where to apply their training in the
Community and Social Service field. Some areas to consider include Addictions Worker,
Group Home Support Worker, Community Service Worker, Women’s shelters, Correctional
facilities, Youth Worker & Women’s Centre
