Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program
Trillium College’s Pharmacy Assistant program gives students the specialization they need to excel in their field. This program is designed to train students to be community pharmacy assistants in order to support and assist pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with day-to-day tasks. As the scope of practice for pharmacists and registered pharmacy technicians expands into higher levels of expertise, the role of the pharmacy assistant is becoming critical to the operational effectiveness of the community retail pharmacies. Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Mature Student Status
Placement Requirements
- Trillium College Immunization Report; completed and signed by a medical professional.
- Submission of a clear Police Check (CPIC) report with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Completed Vulnerable Sector Screening waiver (VSS).
