The Early Childcare Assistant program at Trillium College provides training for people trying to find a rewarding job operating in the Early Childcare Assistant Field. Early Childhood Assistants (under the supervision of the Educator or E.C.E.) provide a safe and caring environment for youngsters urging their social, psychological and intellectual advancement.

- Placement: The Early Childhood Assistant students complete their education with
490 hours of placement experience. The placement is broken in two: Infant &
Toddler – 245 hours & Preschool – 245 hours

Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Mature Student Status
Placement Requirements
- Trillium College Immunization Report; completed and signed by a medical professional.
- Submission of a clear Police Check (CPIC) report with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Completed Vulnerable Sector Screening waiver (VSS).
